Middle School

WELCOME TO TERM 3 2017

After a well-earned break, it is great to see so many smiling faces ready and eager for a term of learning and exploration.  We have many exciting things planned and look forward to continuing our learning journey throughout Term 3.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

Home Learning

Home Learning for this term will consist of daily reading and weekly spelling. From time to time, a learning task might also be sent home.  Please refer to the following page for information should you wish to further support your child throughout this term.

COMPASS Reporting

Parents and Guardians are reminded that student progress reporting occurs throughout the Term and can be accessed via Compass.  Reporting dates are announced through the school newsletter and anyone experiencing difficulty with the system should contact the school office.

Camp

Our 3/4 Camp to Camp Wilkins in Anglesea is fast approaching.  Families will soon receive further information regarding payment, medical forms and permission notes and prompt return is appreciated.

Cardboard Boxes

We will be undertaking some construction activities in our Inquiry unit later this term.  If you have any cardboard or construction materials at home that you can donate (no food boxes please), we would really appreciate your support in making it a sustainable activity.

Tissues

Thank you to those families who have already brought in tissues for classroom use. A box per child, per semester, keeps us in steady supply and we greatly appreciate your support.
